Las Vegas - No dancing till Saturday, so we'll take a look at the NBA and try the Blazers over the Nets. Normally, we would look at Brooklyn in this spot, but the team is thinner than Olive Oyl in the Popeye comics. And if you have not ever stepped into a Popeye comic, PLZ take a few minutes and meet Popeye, Olive, Brutus, Swee'Pea and my favorite, Wimpy. Back to thin. The Nets still don't have Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving is gone for three games, and a YUGE piece off the bench, Landry Shamet, is out as well. Brooklyn went on quite a spread run back in February, ripping off EIGHT straight covers, but March hasn't been as kind to the bankroll, with only one cover in their last five games. And after getting HUMILIATED on their home floor Sunday by the Mavericks, losing by FORTY POINTS (132-92), gotta believe that Portland is gonna come up smelling like roses. BOOK IT!!!
