Las Vegas - From my horse guy, my man, Martin Calia ...he ALWAYS has rock-solid info on the ponies, and you can actually BET on it...Talk to us Marty...

'From a handicapping standpoint I really don't think there is any value in this race. I think it will be the four top betting choices of Tiz the Law, Ete Indien, Gouverneur Morris, and Independence Hall.
Lets start with Ete Indien. He is the speed of the race and will no doubt be gunning for the lead from post 12. He hung on for 2nd the last time he faced Tiz the Law and that was at a mile and a sixteenth. This race is a mile and a eighth and I see the same result of him not holding on in the stretch. Maybe he lasts for second. A look at Gouverneur Morris, from the Todd Pletcher barn, ran a good second last year to Maxfield in the Breeders Futurity at Keeneland. His first race this year was a win against cheaper non-winners of a race. This group will be much tougher. He has been working well at the training track but I just don't think he is fast enough to beat Tiz the Law or Independence Hall. With Independence Hall, you have the only other horse in the race to post a Beyer speed figure over 100. He accomplished that high number in last year's Grade 3 Nashua at Aqueduct . Even though he finished second in his last race at Tampa, the Grade 3 SF Davis, the third place finisher in that race was over 11 lengths behind him. I think with a top effort he can possibly pull off the upset of the favorite Tiz the Law, but more likely, he will finish second. Speaking of the 6/5 favorite, Tiz the Law, he is my pick to win this race. His 108 Beyer speed figure tops everyone in this field and he did that while not having the best of trips. He was wrangled back and steadied about the half mile marker and then powered away from Ete Indien in the stretch. This is the one to beat ! So, here's the plan. A $25 win and place on #7 Tiz the Law. A $5 exacta #7 over 5, 9, 12. And for triple and superfecta players, the same numbers 7 over 5,9,12.'

Are you glass half full, or, glass half empty? Well, like everything else, you CAN BET on it!!! When do you think that Major League Baseball will play its next game? We have a date. If you wanna wager on or before July 3, you'll have to put up $140 to win back $100. If you think it's gonna be after July 3, you'll put up $100 and get back $120. How about the NBA? Same dates, different prices. If you think the hoopsters are gonna start on or before July 3, you'll have to put up $120 to win back $100. If you think it's gonna be after July 3, you'll put up the same amount, $120 and get back $100. Different story on the ice, with a different favorite and a different date. Think it has something to do with Canada Day which is July 1. If you think the NHL is gonna start after July 1, you'll have to put up $300 to win back $100. If you think it's gonna be on or before July 1, you'll put up $100 and get back $200. If I were a betting man, oh yea, I AM, would take the 'on or before' with MLB and lay the dollar forty. Would also take the 'on or before' in the NBA and lay the dollar twenty. On the ice, would like to grab the 'on or before' at plus two dollars, but that whole Canada Day deal has me worried.

Also asking for some help with the stock market. Not a market guru at all, but there's a prop floating around asking when the Dow Jones will hit 25,000 again. The odds for it hitting 25 dimes in 2020 are 2/1. Looks like 2021 is the favorite at 3/2, while 2022 is listed at 3/1 and 2023 or later at 4/1. YELL if you can help!!!
