Las Vegas - Handicapping baseball is NEVER easy, but tonight might be a piece of cake. The Dodgers and Padres are battling for the top spot in the National League West, and before last night, just 1.5 games separated the two rivals. We're gonna look at L.A. with Tony Gonsolin. Why? We've been riding the Gonsolin train for quite a while and why not. Tony HAS NOT LOST a game, 9-0, and owns a gorgeous overall 1.58 ERA. But we looked a little closer and his ERA at home is like INVISIBLE. He has pitched 33 innings at Dodger Stadium, allowed only three earned runs and the calculator says that's a ZER0 POINT EIGHT TWO ERA! On the other side, Blake Snell is also perfect. A perfect OH & FIVE! Yea, this AIN'T the Snell we saw back at Tampa Bay circa 2018 when he posted a 21-5 record with a 1.89 ERA and won the Cy Young award. However, it seems like Blake is regressing rather then getting better. In his last two starts, Snell has been rocked for 11 hits and 8 earned ruins in just 10 innings. NO Mookie Betts for the Dodgers, but NO Manny Machado and NO Fernando Tatis Jr. for San Diego. Gotta have L.A. for the money.
