Las Vegas - Gonna roll out West for some baseball and grab the Mariners with Justin Dunn over the Rangers and Jordan Lyles. Since the Ms are out West, you folks back East don't see 'em much, except maybe in the box scores or nightly highlights. Well, lemme introduce you to Mr. Dunn. He was a 1st round pick by the Mets back in 2016, and is now working in Seattle. He had a cup of coffee last season, starting four games and finishing with a 2.70 ERA. He had a rough go in his first few starts in 2020, but the last two, the LAST TWO, have been GLORIOUS! How about 6 innings pitched in each start, ONLY 1 hit allowed in each start, 6 Ks in each start, and most important, 12 innings worth of BAGELS! And one of those starts was against, yup, Texas. Now we'll shift to the Rangers' starter Lyles. You might wanna hide your eyes, 'cause it's UGLY! In the what have you done for me lately category, we'll look at the last two starts. And when we say ugly, we mean UUU...GGG...LLL...YYY!!! He's allowed 18 hits and 14 earned runs in just 8 innings. According to my calculator, that's a PREPOSTEROUS 15.75 ERA! Dropping a fairly serious bundle on the Mariners.

Down in the NBA bubble, Milwaukee looks flat. Milwaukee looks confused. Milwaukee looks lost. We've been riding the Heat since the start of the series, and as crazy as it sounds, the broom is out. Would it be dumb to say, the Heat stay hot and melt the Bucks. Oh well, just said it. BROOM over Miami BAABBBEEE!!!
