FIU

Las Vegas - Was thinking about leaving the college football handicapping world with a 100% success rate after last Saturday's W with Miami-Florida, but nah, ready to roll again. And looking at another Florida school, FIU +2.5 points over Tulane. Of course, we would suggest you buy the hook and push the line to +3. Florida International does have more talent than Tulane on the field, and more importantly, on the coaching headset. Butch Davis is the X & O guy for the visiting Panthers, and he knows his way around the sideline. He took an FIU program that posted records of 1-11, 4-8, 5-7, and 4-8 before he started, and has already improved to 8-5 in his first year and 9-4 last season. Willie Fritz has not made similar strides with the Green Wave. This will be his fourth season, which is why 4-8, 5-7 and 7-6 have not impressed me. James Morgan, FIU's QB, HAS impressed me. If you're not familiar, Morgan completed 213 of 326 (65.3%) for 2,727 yards, 26 TDs and only 7 INTs. The only place this wave is rolling is toward International.

Picking up the tennis racket and gonna dip into the U.S. Open in New York City. Teenage sensation, Coco Gauff, steps into the second round against Timea Babos from Hungary. Coco is a small favorite, around -$155, and with the help of an extremely loud, extremely supportive NYC crowd, she should be able to handle the Hungarian. Also, if you wanna lay like 9/1, and get a few hours worth of entertainment, take a look at Nick Kyrgios over Antoine Hoang.
