Las Vegas - Saw that the golf coach from Air Force has been fired for sports betting. Agree that coaches and players should NOT bet, but in this case, the punishment does NOT fit the crime. According to reports, he bet $9,259 bucks, which sounds like a whole bunch of money. But that $9,259 was spread out over 253 bets. Went to the calculator and it told me that his average bet was $36. THIRTY SIX BUCKS! That's three Frappuccinos and three Blueberry Scones at Starbucks. And he got a freakin' five year ban. FIVE YEARS! C'MON. How about FIVE months and fifty hours of community service at the nearest Draft Kings sportsbook!
