Las Vegas - Looking for a hat trick and will kick off the party down on Tobacco Road with North Carolina vs. Duke. Without question, THE BEST rivalry in college hoops. The Blue Devils smoked the Tar Heels at Cameron back in February, 87-70. Not that they need it, but revenge is on the table for the Heels. Also on the table is a gorgeous UNC six game winning streak where they have covered five times. If this is the end for coach Hubert Davis, he is going out in style. Duke has already clinched a share of the regular season ACC title and a probable #1 seed at the Big Dance. It ain't Cameron Indoor but the Dean Dome in Chapel Hill can get really loud. Would not be surprised if the Blue Devils win outright, but gotta buy the Tar Heels plus TEN fat points.

Jumping on the Zamboni out in Denver and gonna drop a few chips on the Avalanche over the Maple Leafs. Both teams are playing well, but the Avalanche are on another level right now. They have won four in a row and have outscored the opposition 21-7. Gimme the Avs for the money.

Out West, further west, Golden State has been a TOTALLY different team since Jimmy Butler pulled on the Warriors jersey. The Dubs have won 10 of 12 since Jimmy Buckets arrived and have covered nine of the last 12. Not thrilled about laying five points, so we'll take GSW on the money line.
