Las Vegas - Going from North London up to South Yorkshire to watch Sheffield United vs. Tottenham. Yesterday, got to watch my Arsenal lads feed Norwich a 4-0 bagel at The Emirates. Now I'm thinking it's time to tap our HATED rival, the Hotspur, and see if we can keep buffing up the bank account.

Normally, the Blades from Sheffield are a tough side at home, but with ZERO fans in the stands, it makes life a bit strange. The Blades were slicing through their competition (Blades and slicing in the same sentence might be Pulitzer Prize quality writing) before the world stopped, but since the restart, they AIN'T cutting it (once again, are you folks on the Pulitzer nominating committee reading???). Sheffield had a gorgeous run before the stoppage, with just one defeat in 10 games across all competitions. Since the restart, they have not won a game (was gonna say that the Blades looked DULL, but don't wanna overload the Pulitzer people in one graph). The kids from United have played four games since coming back, have eaten three bagels, and been outscored, 8-1. OUCH! The Blades are currently sitting in the 10th slot on 44 points, with 11 wins, 9 losses and 11 draws. They have scored 30 goals and allowed 31 for a thin -1 goal differential.

Tottenham has played twice since returning, winning one and holding Man U to a draw. The Spurs are sitting in the 8th spot on 45 points, with 12 wins, 10 losses and 9 draws. They have scored 50 goals and allowed 41 for a +9 goal differential. And if any team is due, the Hotspur are DUE!!! Tottenham has not won a league game away at Sheffield United since 1975, but with Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Son Heung-min all fit and ready, the 45 year drought WILL end. Gimme a FULL Benjamin on the Spurs.

The other game is a head-scratcher. Manchester City will host League champions Liverpool. City is sitting in the second slot and assured of a place in the UEFA Champions League. The visiting Reds might still be celebrating the trophy and their normal 110% commitment to each game is up for debate. The Citizens will be looking to avenge an earlier 3-1 loss at Liverpool back in November. But, and this is a big one, the Reds from Liverpool need 15 points out of a possible 21 in their final seven league matches to break the English top-flight points record of 100, set by, guess who, YUP, Manchester City. With TOO many variables, we'll just watch.
