Las Vegas - After losing to and getting embarrassed by Clemson, 85-65, North Carolina fans started to list all the potential candidates that would replace Hubert Davis. Gonzaga's Mark Few is on the list as is Alabama's Nate Oats. McNeese State's Will Wade is also on the list with Tar Heels assistant coach Brad Frederick getting a mention. NOT so fast. Since that loss at Clemson, the Heels have won three in a row. They went on the road and beat Syracuse 88-82, smoked NC State, 97-73 and rocked Virginia 81-66 at the Dean Dome. Florida State has had a rough go this season, losing and failing to cover six of the last nine. Carolina will be a small favorite, like -1.5 or -2, and should fly back to Chapel Hill with a W in their bags.
