Las Vegas - Staying on the ice, we're gonna key on the Maple Leafs vs. the Blue Jackets. Of all the teams left in the mix, Toronto is one of only two, the other is Edmonton, that will have HOME ICE ADVANTAGE. Even without any fans in the building, this is a YUGE edge for the Leafs. They will not have the usual access to the team gym, weight room and practice rink, but the Scotiabank Arena IS THEIR HOME. And they posted a plus-money 18-9-7 record at the Bank this season. Columbus wasn't horrible, wasn't great on the road, with a 13-10-11 record. Both teams picked up 81 points before the lockdown, but Toronto had a +11 goal differential, scoring 238 and allowing 227, while the Jackets clocked in with a -7 goal differential, scoring 180 and allowing 187. If you're into Over/Under totals, check this out. We know that the Maple Leafs can fill up the net, but plz be careful because they went Under in nine of the last 15 games before play was suspended. And the Blue Jackets, normally a very tight defensive squad, went Over in seven of their last 11. Not gonna mess with the total, but will drop a few chips on the Leafs.
