injury hoops
Las Vegas - Hoopsters are hurtin' tonight. Boston lists Marcus Smart and Robert Williams as questionable. Miami now lists Kyle Lowry and Tyler Herro as questionable. That's why we're taking a pass.
Not taking a pass on the MLB board. Every year, Tampa Bay manages to find an arm that is CRAZY good. This season, it's Drew Rasmussen. Check out some of these numbers. Last year, we got a little taste of what was in store for 2022. He was 4-0 with a 2.44 ERA after coming over from the Brewers. This year, he is already 4-1, and his ERA is falling faster than Bitcoin. His first three starts were just average, but MAN, has he picked up the pace. In his last five outings, Rasmussen has completed 26 innings and allowed only 3 earned runs which works out to an impossibly skinny 1.04 ERA. And you can throw in 25 Ks during that stretch. The Marlins surprised some people, opening up the season with a 12-8 record in the month of April. But as usual, they have reverted back to the Fish we love in May, losing 14 of the last 20 (not including last night). My wallet is screaming Rays!
