This season, it's only three starts in, but he is WWAAYY above average. Jose has allowed only three earned runs over 18 innings for a gorgeous 1.45 ERA. His opponent, Kyle Freeland, has been in early YUCH. Freeland had one good year, 17-7 back in 2018, but since then, it has been mostly YUCH. His record since that point is 27-49. More YUCH. And his three starts this year have been GIGANTIC YUCH! We're talking 25 hits and 19 earned runs in just 10 innings for a BULBOUS 16.03 ERA. Get out your passport and gimme Toronto for the money.
