Las Vegas - Gonna direct your attention to the Conference USA Championship in Lynchburg, Virginia. This is Liberty's home field, the Flames are 12-0, they beat New Mexico State on this same field back in October, 33-17, and should have no problem wearing the crown. That is certainly a distinct possibility, but in our world, the +11.5 point world, there's room for discussion. New Mexico comes in with a 10-3 record, but the Aggies work against the spread has been better than Warren Buffet's track record picking stocks. They have covered TEN in a row and head coach Jerry Kill KNOWS how to get a team ready. Just look at what the Aggies did AT Auburn, upsetting the Tigers 31-10 as a TWENTY FIVE POINT underdog. State QB Diego Pavia was 19 of 28 for 201 yards with 3 TDs and ZERO INTs. And this is an Auburn team that took Alabama to the death, losing on a 31 yard Hail Mary as time expired. We understand Liberty's 12-0 perfecto but the Flames NEVER faced a team like Auburn. Liberty Coach Jamey Chadwell hired a mariachi band after beating UTEP last week, and we heard that Bad Bunny might be waiting in the locker room at the end of the championship game. Liberty wins but these Flames are not strong enough to cover the double digit spread.
