Las Vegas - After playing and losing to the Rangers in the 2023 World Series, the Diamondbacks got off to a lousy start this season. They're still one game under .500 (not including last night) but there are signs that the arrow is pointing straight up. The D'backs have won 14 of the last 22 and five of the last seven at home in Arizona. Jordan Montgomery struggled early on as well after missing spring training because of a contract kerfuffle. That really put Montgomery behind the eight ball and his ERA in early June was sitting at 6.75. Looks like Jordan finally found something and has stitched together three straight wins. Minny has not named a starter yet and as long as it's not Bailey Ober, we're pushing all the chips IN on 'Zona. If Ober gets the start, then we go to the laundromat and wash the bet.
