Las Vegas - It's game time, but it's not DAME TIME! Lillard just had abdominal surgery on January 13 and the team said they would reevaluate him in 6-8 weeks. That's NOT tonight. Unfortunately, LeBron is out for the Lakers but that's why the -3 point spread is a bargain. With King James, the Lakers woulda been more like -6ish. L.A. is coming off an ugly six game road trip where they managed just two wins. The Lake Show has lost three in a row, and the last time that happened, they came back home to beat Utah, 101-95. No LeBron, but Anthony Davis is finally rounding into form, and Russell Westbrook seems to have found his scoring touch again. Russ pumped in 20 against the Hawks the last time out, 35 against the Hornets, 20 against the 76ers, 15 against the Nets and 24 against the Heat. Now if Carmelo Anthony can get into double digits which he has done in six of the last seven games, and Malik Monk continues to rock, the Purple & Gold should be money in the bank.
