Las Vegas - SHOCKING! According to the Nevada Gaming Control Board, Nevada sportsbooks lost $2.1 million on football in December. WHAT? Yea, shocker because it's the first month since November 2012 that the books suffered a net loss on football during the regular season. So, once every 12 years, the public beats the books. Guessing they'll stay open for at least another dozen years.

Gonna make a little money on the ice tonight and grab the Stars over the Canucks. Dallas has been on some kind of crazy roll since the end of December, winning 12 of the last 16. Vancouver has been on a nice little run, winning three in a row, but on the road, the Canucks have only three wins in the last 13 games. Got Stars in my eyes and my wallet.
