mars
Las Vegas - Trying to look under every rock for fresh betting angles, and literally had to look OUT OF THIS WORLD! We have found a prop that might interest you space nerds. And I say that with LOVE since most of my immediate family are space nerds. So, the prop wager is, what organization will put a human on Mars first?
Space X is the overwhelming favorite at 1/3. That's Elon Musk and his crew and these guys KNOW how to do stuff. Musk is the founder, CEO & lead designer for Space X. He created an electric revolution with Tesla. He started the Boring Company, as in not bored stiff, but boring tunnels under major cities. He started Neuralink which is developing implantable brain–machine interface, which is a "sewing machine-like" device capable of implanting very thin (4 to 6 um in width) threads into the brain. NO idea what that means, but he was also was the founder of X.com, apparently Elon likes the letter X, which has morphed into PayPal. So, with a resume like that, how can he NOT be a YUGE favorite.
The second choice is Blue Origin at 3/1, which is owned by a small potatoes guy, Jeff Bezos. Actually Jeff B. has the MOST POTATOES in the world, approximately $113 BILLION, and that's even after he recently paid $38 billion to ex-wife Mackenzie Bezos as part of their divorce. With Amazon, Blue Origin and the Washington Post, Bezos doesn't have as many toys as Musk, but at 3/1, could be worth a few chips.
Next up is Boeing at 6/1, and if they can't even get airplanes dialed in, there's no reason to roll with these folks.
Finally, the U.S. Space Force, yea, we have one now, is at the bottom of the list at odds of 12/1. Gotta do a little more work on the Space Force since they just kicked into gear at the end of last year. The Force might not put a human on Mars first, but you can't argue that they have one of the COOLEST logos around. And if they do hit the winner's circle at 12/1, hats are on ME!!!
