Las Vegas - Make fun of New Jersey NO MORE!!! The Garden State just reported on the January sports betting numbers and clocked in at $540 million. Have not seen the Nevada numbers, but the Silver State has never gone over $500 million in January, so we might have a new top dog. But the STAGGERING number is mobile, which accounted for 87% of handle.

Gonna roll with a quintessential Philly guy, Joe Mihalich, and grab Hofstra -4 points over Charleston. Joe spent 17 years as an assistant coach under Dave “Lefty” Ervin and the legendary William “Speedy” Morris. Not bad company. He did well as the head coach at Niagara (265-203), and now is getting Hofstra back to the glory days of that other Philly guy, Jay Wright. The Pride topped out at 27-8 last season, and are sitting on 18 Ws already. They have won and covered seven of the last nine and will be looking to avenge a 69-67 loss AT Charleston back in January.
