Las Vegas - Finish up your cheesesteak and lets jump into to the NFC Championship tilt. Philly is a 6-point favorite over Washington at the Linc in their third matchup this season. The Eagles (-4.5) won and covered the first game in Philly, 26-18. The Commanders (+4) won and covered the second game in Washington, 36-33. So the slate is even. The two questions that jump out are, how healthy is QB Jalen Hurts and how can Washington stop RB Saquon Barkley? We're hearing that Hurts practiced well this week, but one good hit on that ailing knee and you can say hello to Kenny Pickett. Saquon is a GINORMOUS issue for the Commanders D. He gobbled up 146 yards in the first meeting and 150 yards in the second. However, Washington wound up with the W. And it's the kid, Jayden Daniels, who is MAGNIFICENT! We have been watching football for a few minutes, maybe 12,500,000 minutes, and this kid, this rookie, is as good as we have ever seen. The Igles are a tough out at home, but gotta tickle Jayden and the Commanders plus six points.

Moving out to Kansas City where the Chiefs are now a -1.5/2 point favorite over the Bills depending on where you shop. We have seen this matchup and this story twice in the last three years, kinda like Ground Hog Day. Buffalo wins the regular season matchup then comes up short in the playoffs. It's almost like Kansas City is doing the famous Muhammad Ali 'rope-a-dope.' The Chiefs lean back on the ropes, take the Bills best shot during the season, then drop the hammer in the playoffs. In 2021, the Bills whipped the Chiefs in Kaycee 38-20, then lost to the Chiefs in the AFC title game at Arrowhead, 42-36. In 2023, the Bills squeezed the Chiefs in Kaycee 20-17, then lost to the Chiefs in the in the Divisional Round in Buffalo, 27-24. Here we go again. The Bills posted a 30-21 W against the Chiefs in Buffalo back in November and now have to face the music in Kansas City. And without star S Taylor Rapp, that's gonna be a big problem. And in that Buffalo win, TE Travis Kelce caught only TWO balls for EIGHT yards. Last week against the Texans, Playoff Kelce snagged SEVEN balls for ONE HUNDRED SEVENTEEN yards. It's Ground Hog Day all over again. Gimme Kaycee for the money.
