Las Vegas - Kick it off up in New England with the Dolphins/Patriots matchup. Miami limps in with a 1-3 straight up record and 0-4 against the spread. With Tua out, the Fish turned to Tyler Huntley and he turned into CHUM for the Titans last week. Huntley completed 14 of 22 for only 96 yards and did not find the end zone. In four years with the Ravens, he threw for 8 TDs but was picked 7 times. Jacoby Brissett is slinging for New England, and 2024 has been just kinda EH for him. He has hit on 61 of 101 for 536 yards with 2 TDs and 1 INT. With Brissett against Huntley, there's a chance that I might watch reruns of the Great British Baking Show from season one. The tension in the tent is palpable and if you don't like Paul Hollywood, then get off my page. Only kidding of course because you need the winner. Looking bad against a bad team, like Miami did against Tennessee, is brutal. Looking bad against a good team like the Patriots did against the 49ers, is almost acceptable. Not gonna bring my entire stack of chips to the table here, but will spray a handful on New England.

Grab the Bears -4 points over the Panthers. I'll explain after it wins.

Out West for a look at the Giants vs. Seahawks. New York is only 1-3 but if you look at Seattle's 3-1 record, it was built on the back of lousy teams. Wins against the Broncos, Patriots and Dolphins didn't impress me. When they finally played a team with chops, the Lions, they were busted up for 42 points. And now we understand the 'Hawks D could have even more holes. DT Byron Murphy, DE Leonard Williams, and LBs Boye Mafe, Uchenna Nwosu and Jerome Baker all missed the game against Detroit. And now it looks like Pro Bowl S Julian Love (quad contusion) could be a no show as well. On the other side, there is an issue with NY's best WR, Malik Nabers, who cradled 11 balls for 115 yards, before getting his bell rung against the Cowboys. His status is officially listed as questionable. You know that Geno 'The Pizza Man' Smith will be looking forward to this game since he played in New York for the both the Giants and Jets. But he was sacked three times by the Lions and the Giants defense is #3 in the NFL with 15 sacks. Looking at the underdog Giants +6.5 and of course, if you can, buy the hook to +7.
