College Football Betting: Week 10
The contenders for college football's National Championship are rapidly dwindling, and we'll get an even clearer picture this weekend as the top two teams in the country meet on the gridiron. Here's a look at the games involving Top 25 schools on the college football betting board and their lines for the weekend . . .
No. 1 LSU at No. 2 Alabama
The Tigers and Crimson Tide are both 8-0 on the season, but one of those schools is finally going to get tagged with a loss on Saturday when they do battle in Alabama. LSU won 24-21 when these teams met last season, and they'll need a similar result this weekend in order to stay atop the AP Top 25 poll. At 5Dimes the oddsmakers are going with the Crimson Tide at home, setting them as the 4.5-point favorites this week.
No. 17 Kansas State at No. 3 Oklahoma State
The 8-0 Cowboys are looking to jump into the Top 2 in the poll after Week 10's action, but to do that they'll need to get past a 7-1 Wildcats team that's coming off its first loss of the season over the weekend (58-17 vs. Oklahoma). Oklahoma State dismantled Baylor 59-24 last time out, and they beat Kansas State 24-14 when they met last season. At 5Dimes the Cowboys have been listed as 21-point favorites for Saturday.
No. 4 Stanford at Oregon State
The Cardinal improved to 8-0 over the weekend with a win over Southern Cal, but it didn't come easily as Andrew Luck and company need three overtimes to secure the 56-48 road victory. Luck threw for 330 yards and three touchdowns in that contest, which kept Stanford in the national title hunt. The Cardinal beat Oregon State 38-0 last season, and they're 21-point road favorites at 5Dimes for Saturday’s matchup.
No. 5 Boise State (-42) at UNLV
Coming off a bye week, the 7-0 Broncos still need several of the schools above them in the polls to pick up losses in order to advance to the National Championship game in January. Boise State last played on October 22 against Air Force, grabbing a 37-26 victory in that contest behind a three-touchdown day from quarterback Kellen Moore. The Broncos are pegged as huge 42-point favorites at 5Dimes to get past the Rebels.
