Week 15 NFL Betting Preview
Still holding down the best record in the NFC, the Atlanta Falcons will be looking to bounce back from a loss on Sunday afternoon as they play host to the New York Giants in a game pegged as a pick'em on the opening NFL betting lines at the books.
The Falcons managed to lose 30-20 on the road against the Carolina Panthers over the weekend as a 3-point favorite on the NFL odds, putting them at 11-2 SU and 7-5-1 ATS on the season. Matt Ryan threw for 342 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in that loss for the Falcons, but running backs Jacquizz Rodgers and Michael Turner combined for only 35 rushing yards (and a score) on their 11 carries.

Atlanta will be looking to get better production on the ground this Sunday against a Giants team that is 8-5 SU and 6-7 ATS on the season after pounding the New Orleans Saints 52-27 as a 4-point favorite last time out. New York has a slim one-game lead on both Washington and Dallas in the NFC East standings with three games to go in the season, while Atlanta has already clinched the NFC South division title.
The Cowboys are also involved in a game that opened as a pick'em at sportsbooks like 5Dimes this week – they'll play host to the Pittsburgh Steelers late on Sunday afternoon. Dallas has a 5-8 ATS record to go along with their 7-6 SU mark, and they slipped past Cincinnati 20-19 over the weekend as a 3-point underdog. The Cowboys, however, had top receiver Dez Bryant suffer a hand injury, and his status going forward is still up in the air. Pittsburgh sits at 7-6 SU and 5-7-1 ATS on the season.
The Redskins have an injury concern as well this week, with starting quarterback Robert Griffin III leaving the team's 31-28 win over the Baltimore Ravens on the weekend with a knee injury. That has the Redskins/Browns matchup for Week 15 off the board at the sportsbooks early this week; Washington is 7-6 SU and 8-5 ATS on the season, while Cleveland has won three in a row to sit at 5-8 SU and 8-4-1 ATS.
The rest of the Sunday afternoon slate has Minnesota at St. Louis (-2.5), Jacksonville at Miami (-8), Green Bay at Chicago (+3), Denver at Baltimore (+3), Indianapolis at Houston (-9), Tampa Bay at New Orleans (-3), Detroit at Arizona (+5.5), Carolina at San Diego (-2.5), Seattle at Buffalo (+5.5), and Kansas City at Oakland (-2.5).
Thursday night then has Cincinnati at Philadelphia (+3), with the Bengals battling the Steelers for the final Wild Card berth in the AFC heading into this week. The Sunday night game has San Francisco at New England (-7), with the Patriots a league-high 10-3 on the OVER/UNDER after blasting the Texans on Monday. The Niners are 9-3-1 SU and 8-5 ATS on the season - and are trying to hold off Seattle in the NFC West race.
