The Miami Dolphins and the Indianapolis Colts will both try and open the season 2-0 when they square off against one another this Sunday afternoon. The Colts have been opened as 2.5-point home favorites for that game with the total set at 42.5 points.
The New York Giants will then host the Denver Broncos in a 4:25pm ET start as 5.5-point underdogs with the total set at 54.5 points. Later on Sunday night, the San Francisco 49ers will be in Seattle to face the Seahawks as a 2.5-point road underdog. The total for that NFC West divisional showdown has been set at 45 points.
The two big matchups in college football this Saturday start with a high-noon Pac-12/Big Ten clash between UCLA and Nebraska. The 2-0 Cornhuskers have been opened as 4.5-point home favorites over the 1-0 Bruins. The moneyline for this game has UCLA at +165, with Nebraska listed at -190.
Alabama will look to avenge its only loss of last season with a trip to College Station to face Johnny Manziel and the Texas A&M Aggies. Last year, the Crimson Tide fell 29-24 at home as 13.5-point favorites. This time around, they have been opened as 7-point road favorites at 5Dimes. The moneyline for this game has Alabama listed at -310, with Texas A&M at +255. Kickoff is slated for 3:30pm ET.
If boxing is your sport it does not get any bigger than this Saturday night with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Saul Canelo Alvarez battling it out for the Super Welterweight title at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand. Mayweather is currently listed as a -275 favorite, with Alvarez pegged at +235. The oddsmakers expect this 12-round fight to go the distance with the moneyline on the OVER 11.5 currently at -320 and the line on the UNDER 11.5 at +260. This bout will be offered live by Showtime as a pay-per-view event.
