Gators move on to Elite Eight odds matchup

The Badgers upended No. 6 Baylor 69-52 on Thursday as 4-point favorites, while the Wildcats had their hands full with No. 4 San Diego State in a 70-64 victory in that Sweet 16 matchup. Moving to Friday night’s games, the action tips off with No. 11 Tennessee taking on No. 2 Michigan in the Midwest Region as a 2.5-point underdog with the total set at 134. The other half of that bracket could be the night’s featured bout as No. 8 Kentucky will try and end bitter rival No. 4 Louisville’s bid to repeat as national champions. The Cardinals are currently favored by four points on the Bovada betting odds for this showdown. The total for this game has been set at 138.5.
No. 7 Connecticut will try and keep its impressive run in this year’s NCAA Tournament alive with a win over No. 3 Iowa State as a 1.5-point underdog in the first of two matchups in the East. The total in this game is set at 147. The headliner in that region pits No. 4 Michigan State against No. 1 Virginia. The Spartans’ bandwagon to win this year’s national title is standing room only and they opened as 2-point favorites to advance to the Elite Eight. The total for this Big Ten/ACC clash has been set at 127.
