College Football Week 6 Top Odds Matchups
The latest chapter in the Red River Rivalry will be written this weekend when the No. 10 Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns face off at the Cotton Bowl.
The Sooners are big favorites at online sportsbook 5Dimes in this matchup, coming in as 17-point chalk. Oklahoma is undefeated on the season and 3-1 ATS after defeating West Virginia 44-24 last week as a 6.5-point favorite. Baker Mayfield had three touchdown passes and the Oklahoma defense was strong, forcing five turnovers, including a fumble returned for a touchdown and seven sacks.
The Longhorns are off to a disappointing 1-3 start and were pummeled by TCU 50-7 as a 14.5-point underdog last week. The Texas defense surrendered 604 yards and QB Jerrod Heard had an awful game, completing only 8-of-20 passes for 48 yards.
Last season Oklahoma defeated Texas 31-26 but failed to cover the 16.5-point spread. The Sooners have won four of their last five versus the Longhorns with a 3-2 ATS record.
In the Big Ten this weekend there’s a great Top 25 matchup between undefeated No. 13 Northwestern and surging No. 18 Michigan.
The Wildcats are coming off a 27-0 shutout of Minnesota as a 4.5-point favorite. They improved to 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS on the season. The defense limited the Golden Gophers to 173 yards with a pair of turnovers and a TD.
Michigan is also coming off a shutout (their second in a row) after blanking Maryland 28-0 as a 13.5-point favorite. That was the Wolverines’ fourth straight win during which they are 3-1 ATS. The Michigan defense allowed only 105 yards of total offense with three interceptions in the win.
The Wolverines are an 8-point favorite at online sportsbook Bovada and they’ve won four straight against the Wildcats with a 2-2 record ATS. Michigan is also 9-1 SU and 5-5 ATS in their last 10 versus Northwestern and in their last six at home they’re 5-1 SU and 2-4 ATS. Totals bettors should take note that both sides in this matchup are 5-0 Under on the season.

The Utes are a 7-point favorite at 5Dimes and are looking for their fifth straight win after hammering Oregon 62-20 as a 10-point underdog. Quarterback Travis Wilson was a force in the win with four touchdown passes and a TD run while rushing for 100 yards on six carries.
The Golden Bears edged Washington State 34-28 last week as a 17-point favorite. Cal may be the underdog this week, but they’re 2-0 SU and ATS in their last two versus Utah. Cal is also 6-1 ATS in their last seven road games, while Utah is only 3-3 SU and 2-4 ATS in their last six home games.
