College Football Week 7 Top Odds Matchups
A pair of Top 10 matchups from the SEC highlight the Week 7 schedule in college football, and getting things started is No. 10 Alabama at No. 9 Texas A&M. The Aggies may be the higher ranked team, but the oddsmakers at Bovada like the Crimson Tide as a 4-point road favorite.
The Tide took care of Arkansas 27-14 as a 15.5-point favorite last week. Alabama may have won their third straight, but after failing to cover the spread they’re 1-2 ATS during the streak and 2-4 ATS on the season.
The Aggies picked up their fifth win in a row last time out after topping Mississippi State 30-17 as a 4-point favorite. During their winning streak they’re 4-1 ATS, but at home they’ve been dreadful for bettors recently. In their last eight at home the Aggies are 2-6 ATS.
In the other prime SEC matchup No. 8 Florida visits No. 6 LSU. The Tigers come in as a big 9.5-point favorite at 5Dimes.
The Gators defeated Missouri 21-3 as a 6.5-point favorite last week. Florida has now won seven straight and has a solid 6-1 ATS record. LSU improved to 5-0 on the season and 2-3 ATS with a 45-24 win over South Carolina last week as a 20.5-point favorite.
The Tigers have taken four of their last five against the Gators and they’re also 4-1 ATS. At home LSU is still a strong 4-1 SU in their last five against Florida, but they’re 2-2-1 ATS and only 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight.
Concluding our look at Week 7 is a Big Ten clash between No. 7 Michigan State and No. 12 Michigan.
The Spartans look great at 6-0 on the season after defeating Rutgers 31-24 last week. Looks can be deceiving though, as Michigan State failed to cover the 12.5-point spread and dropped to 0-6 ATS.
The Wolverines have been rolling since dropping their season opener with five straight wins. They pitched a shutout for the third game in a row last week, topping Northwestern 38-0 as a 10.5-point favorite.
The battle of Michigan has been dominated by the Spartans with six wins in their last seven games versus the Wolverines. They’re also 7-0 ATS in those seven games. Michigan is an 8-point home favorite at Bovada for Saturday.
