College Football Week 13 Top Odds Matchups
Big Ten rivals clash with more than just bragging rights on the line this weekend when Ohio State and Michigan renew acquaintances.
Coming off their first loss of the season the Buckeyes need a win this weekend to hold on to their place in the playoffs. Ohio State is a 2-point underdog at online sportsbook 5Dimes.
Last week Ohio State fell to Michigan State 17-14 as a 14.5-point favorite. The Buckeyes offense forgot to show up as they gained only 132 yards and made five first downs. The defeat also snapped Ohio State’s 23-game winning streak.
The Wolverines won their fourth in a row and ninth in their last 10 games last week by topping Penn State 28-16 as a 3.5-point favorite. The final score also went OVER the total for their sixth straight game.
The Buckeyes have heavily dominated the rivalry in recent years having won three straight with a 1-2 ATS record and they're 10-1 SU and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 against the Wolverines. Ohio State is also 4-1 SU and ATS in their last five games at Michigan.
Old rivals also clash in the SEC this weekend when Alabama and Auburn meet up in the Iron Bowl. It isn't expected to be close with the Crimson Tide listed as a 13.5-point road favorite at 5Dimes.
The Tide won their eighth in a row last week after hammering Charleston Southern 56-6 as a 40-point favorite. Alabama has also covered the spread in three straight and they're 5-3 ATS during their winning streak.
Auburn defeated Idaho 56-34 last week but failed to cover the 33-point spread. That's been quite common for the Tigers, who are 2-13-1 ATS in their last 16 games.
Alabama has won five of the last seven Iron Bowl matchups with a 4-3 ATS record. The Tide are also 4-2 SU and ATS in their last six road games against the Tigers.
Finally, Notre Dame is also in need of a win to maintain their push for the playoffs when they visit Stanford as a 3.5-point underdog at 5Dimes.
The Fighting Irish have won six in a row after escaping with a 19-16 win over Boston College last week as a 14.5-point favorite. During their six-game winning streak the Irish are 3-3 ATS. However, in their last 12 games they are 11-1 SU and 8-4 ATS.
Stanford is coming off a 35-22 win over California as a 10-point favorite. That improved the Cardinal's season mark to 9-2 SU and 8-3 ATS.
Stanford is 4-2 SU and 3-3 ATS in their last three matchups with Notre Dame. The last five games between the two have gone UNDER the posted total. At home the Cardinal have won three in a row against Notre Dame, but they're 1-2 ATS. In their last nine road games against Stanford the Irish are a solid 7-2 ATS.
