College Football Week 5 Betting Preview

A Top 5 matchup highlights Week 5 of the college football season as the No. 3 Louisville Cardinals take on the No. 5 Clemson Tigers.

Ranked matchups get started early this week with the No. 7 Stanford Cardinal facing the No. 10 Washington Huskies on Friday night.

Stanford has won seven straight after defeating the UCLA Bruins 22-13 last week as a 1.5-point favorite. Washington is also on a seven-game winning streak following their 35-28 win over the Arizona Wildcats last week as a 17-point favorite.

Stanford dominates this matchup at 7-1 SU and 5-3 ATS in their last eight versus Washington. The Huskies are a 3-point home favorite at Bovada and in their last 28 games as a home favorite they are 26-2 SU and 18-10 ATS.

In the Big Ten this weekend there is a Top 10 showdown between the No. 8 Wisconsin Badgers and No. 4 Michigan Wolverines.

Wisconsin is a 10-point underdog despite winning six straight with a 5-1 ATS mark. The Wolverines are 9-1 SU and 6-4 ATS in their last 10 games and they’ve gone OVER the posted total in 12 straight.

Wisconsin owns a 7-1-1 ATS record in their last nine versus Michigan, while going 4-5 SU. The Badgers picked up a 48-28 win as a 4-point road favorite in their last trip to Michigan, snapping a five-game SU losing streak during which they were 2-2-1 ATS.
