The surging Atlanta Falcons get to prove they’re for real this week when they take on the Seattle Seahawks as a road underdog at the sportsbooks.
The Falcons have won four in a row straight up and against the spread after upsetting the Denver Broncos 23-16 as a 3.5-point underdog last week. All four of the Falcons' wins have come as the underdog.
Seattle has won two straight SU and ATS and are coming off their bye week. That hasn’t been good news for Seattle though, as they are 3-6 SU and 3-5-1 ATS in their last nine following their bye.
Atlanta has had success against Seattle in the past at 4-1 SU and 2-3 ATS in their last five. The Falcons are a 6-point underdog at online sportsbook Bovada as they try to post another upset against a Seattle squad that is 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in their last six at home.
The New England Patriots returned to the win column last week with Tom Brady back at the helm. New England hammered the Cleveland Browns 33-13 as a 10-point favorite and this week they host the Cincinnati Bengals as 9.5-point chalk.
Cincinnati is 1-3 SU and ATS in their last four following last week’s 28-14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys as a 2.5-point favorite. The Bengals have lost their last two road games both SU and ATS, but they are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 away from home.
In the matchup history New England is 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in their last six against Cincinnati.
In the NFC East this weekend the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Washington Redskins.
The Eagles dropped their first game of the season last week, falling to the Detroit Lions 24-23 as a 3.5-point favorite. That snapped a four-game winning streak SU and ATS. Philadelphia is still a 2-point road favorite this week, but they’re only 2-4 SU and ATS in their last six as a road favorite
Washington has won three in a row SU and ATS after defeating the Baltimore Ravens 16-10 as a 3.5-point underdog last week. With that win Washington improved to an impressive 7-1 SU and ATS in their last eight as an underdog.
The Redskins have won their last three against the Eagles and they’ve won four straight ATS. The total has gone OVER in five of the Redskins' last six games after a win, and has gone OVER in five of the Eagles' last six games on the road.
