College Football Week 12 Betting Preview

The No. 8 Oklahoma Sooners go for their eighth straight win this weekend when they face the No. 10 West Virginia Mountaineers as a road favorite.

The Sooners are a 3-point road favorite against the Mountaineers at the Bovada sportsbook. Oklahoma made it seven straight wins straight up last week with a 45-24 win over the Baylor Bears as a 17.5-point favorite. By covering the spread Oklahoma improved to 4-3 against the spread during their winning streak.

West Virginia upset the Texas Longhorns 24-20 as a 2-point underdog last week. In their last 10 games they’re 9-1 SU and 4-6 ATS. At home they’ve won eight in a row SU, but they’re only 4-4 ATS.

Oklahoma is on a 10-game winning streak on the road at 7-3 ATS. In the Sooners' last 15 games on the road the OVER is 12-2-1 and the OVER is 4-1 in the Sooners' last five versus West Virginia.

The only other ranked matchup on tap this weekend is the No. 20 Washington State Cougars at the No. 12 Colorado Buffaloes. At Bovada the Buffaloes are a 6-point favorite.

The Cougars have won their last eight games after crushing the California Golden Bears 56-21 as a 17.5-point favorite last week. The Buffaloes are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 after defeating the Arizona Wildcats 49-24 as a 17.5-point favorite last week.

The visitor is 5-1 ATS in the last six games between Washington State and Colorado.

Following their big upset win over the Washington Huskies last week the No. 15 USC Trojans visit the UCLA Bruins this week as an 11-point favorite.

USC has won six straight while going 5-1 ATS. They’ve also gone UNDER the posted total in all six wins. The Trojans haven’t had as much success on the road at 4-4 SU and 3-5 ATS in their last eight.

UCLA defeated the Oregon State Beavers 38-24 as an 11.5-point favorite last week. That snapped a four-game losing streak for the Bruins. In their last 10 home games the Bruins are 6-4 SU and 3-7 ATS. As a home underdog the Bruins have lost their last four games both SU and ATS.

Last season the Trojans routed the Bruins 40-21 as a 3-point home favorite. In their last 20 versus UCLA the Trojans are 13-7 SU and 11-9 ATS. The UNDER has played well in the last 10 matchups between USC and UCLA at 8-1-1 UNDER.
