After clinching a playoff spot the Dallas Cowboys can take a step toward clinching their division this weekend when they face the rival New York Giants.
Dallas won their 11th straight game last week, edging the Minnesota Vikings 17-15 as a 3-point favorite. That was their second straight loss against the spread. The Cowboys are a 3-point road favorite against the Giants at the Bovada sportsbook and in their last 10 road games they are 9-1 straight up and 6-4 ATS.
The Giants had their six-game winning streak snapped last week by a 24-14 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers as a 6.5-point underdog. The Giants' four-game home winning streak remains intact, but in their last 11 games as a home underdog they are 1-10 SU and 5-6 ATS.
In Week 1 the Giants began the season with a 20-19 win over Dallas as a 1-point favorite. Dallas is 5-2 SU and 3-3-1 ATS in their last seven versus New York and 4-2 SU and 3-3 ATS in their last six road games against the Giants.
In the AFC South this weekend the Houston Texans look to snap a three-game losing streak when they visit the division-rival Indianapolis Colts.
Houston lost their third in a row SU and ATS last week, falling to the Green Bay Packers 21-13 as a 7-point underdog. The loss dropped them to 6-6 SU on the season and on the road they’re a disappointing 1-4 SU and ATS in their last five.
Indianapolis crushed the New York Jets 41-10 as a 1.5-point underdog last week. With the win they are 3-1 SU and ATS in their last four games.
Houston edged the Colts 26-23 as a 3-point home favorite back in Week 6. That was the Texans' second win in a row against Indianapolis at 1-0-1 ATS, but the Colts still own a 6-2 record SU and 5-1-2 mark ATS in their last eight versus Houston.
The Tennessee Titans will be paying close attention to Houston’s fate this weekend when they host the Denver Broncos as a 1.5-point favorite.
Tennessee was on a bye last week and last time out topped the Chicago Bears 27-21 as a 6.5-point favorite. The Titans are 3-1 SU and 2-2 ATS in their last four at home.
Denver defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 20-10 last week as a 3-point favorite to hold on to a wild card spot in the AFC. In their last five games against the Titans they are 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS.
