NFL Week 10 Betting Preview and Trends
The red-hot New Orleans Saints are road favorites in Week 10, as they visit the Buffalo Bills as a 2-point road favorite at Bovada Sportsbook.
The Saints have won six in a row straight up while going 5-1 against the spread. However, as a road favorite, they’re a disappointing 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games. Buffalo looked like a contender before going 2-2 SU and 1-2-1 ATS in its last four games. Against the Saints, the Bills have dropped four straight both SU and ATS.
The biggest favorites this week are the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Los Angeles Rams. The Steelers are a 10-point road favorite against the Indianapolis Colts at Bovada Sportsbook. Pittsburgh is coming off its bye having won three straight SU and ATS, and as a road favorite the Steelers are 7-1 SU and 6-2 ATS in their last eight. The Colts are only 2-3 ATS in their last five as a home underdog, but 13-3 ATS in their last 16.
The Rams are 11.5-point favorites at home to the Houston Texans. The Rams are 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in their last six, but they’re awful at home for some reason with a 1-8 SU record and 1-7-1 ATS mark in their last nine. The Texans have won three straight ATS on the road, but they’re 0-3 ATS in their last three versus the Rams.
The most interesting matchup this week could be the Dallas Cowboys at the struggling Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta is a 3-point favorite despite going 1-4 SU and 0-5 ATS in its last five games. Dallas has reeled off three straight wins SU and ATS, and is 9-3 SU and 8-4 ATS in its last 12 road games.
On Sunday night the New England Patriots return from their bye to face the Denver Broncos as a 7.5-point road favorite. The Patriots have won 11 straight on the road at 9-2 ATS. The Broncos have dropped four in a row SU and ATS, but they’re a solid 6-2 SU and ATS in their last eight home games against New England.
Week 10 concludes Monday night with the Carolina Panthers home to the Miami Dolphins as 8-point favorites. The Panthers are 4-2 SU and ATS in their last six, but at home they’ve struggled to a 5-6 record SU and 3-6-2 ATS in their last 11 games. The Dolphins have lost two in a row at 0-1-1 ATS, but against Carolina are 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS in their last five.
