NFL Week 11 TNF Betting Odds Preview
Week 11 in the NFL arrives Thursday night with the Tennessee Titans at the Pittsburgh Steelers.
At Bovada Sportsbook, the Steelers are a 7-point favorite. Last week Pittsburgh won its fourth straight, defeating the Indianapolis Colts 20-17 as a 10.5-point favorite. Ben Roethlisberger completed 19 of 31 passes for 236 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Le’Veon Bell rushed for 80 yards on 26 carries and Antonio Brown had three receptions for 47 yards. JuJu Smith-Schuster continued his impressive rookie season with five catches for 97 yards and a TD.
The Titans have also won four in a row after getting past the Cincinnati Bengals 24-20 as a 4.5-point favorite last week. Marcus Mariota completed 25 of 44 passes for 264 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the win. DeMarco Murray rushed for 42 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 14 carries and he also had a TD reception. Delanie Walker led the Titans with six receptions for 63 yards.
Despite the winning streak, Tennessee hasn’t been kind to bettors with a 1-2-1 record against the spread. The Titans have also struggled on the road lately with a 4-5 record straight up and 2-7 ATS record in their last nine. Tennessee is an even worse 3-15 SU in its last 18 road games against teams with winning records.
The Steelers are 3-1 ATS during their four-game winning streak, with their only blemish coming last week against the Colts. At home the Steelers are 6-1 SU in their last seven with a 4-2-1 record ATS. Playing at night has been good for Pittsburgh lately, as the team is 8-0 SU in its last eight night games.
The matchup trends seem to favor the Steelers here, as they are 4-2 SU in their last six versus Tennessee. However, they were 2-4 ATS in those six games. Also worth noting is that in the last seven between Pittsburgh and Tennessee, the visiting team is 1-6 ATS.
For totals bettors, this matchup may be tough to figure out. The Steelers have been a strong UNDER play lately, at 6-1 UNDER in their last seven. The Titans have shaded the OVER, with a 6-2 OVER mark in their last eight. In the last four games between the Steelers and Titans, the OVER is 3-1.
