NFL Week 13 TNF Betting Odds Preview
An NFC East matchup between the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys gets Week 13 in the NFL started on Thursday Night Football.
The struggling Cowboys are a small 1-point favorite at Bovada Sportsbook as they try to turn things around. Dallas has lost three straight both straight up and against the spread after falling to the Los Angeles Chargers 28-6 as a 1-point underdog on Thanksgiving.
Dak Prescott’s recent troubles continued in the loss as he completed 20 of 27 passes for 179 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. Rod Smith scored the Cowboys’ lone touchdown while rushing for 41 yards on nine carries.
Washington also played on Thanksgiving last week and got past the New York Giants 20-10 as a 7-point favorite. Kirk Cousins completed 19 of 31 passes for 242 yards with a pair of touchdowns and an interception. Samaje Perine rushed for 100 yards on 24 carries and Jamison Crowder had seven receptions for 141 yards and a TD.
Following last week’s win, the Redskins are 2-4 SU and 3-3 ATS in their last six games. On the road they’ve gone 1-3 SU and 2-2 ATS in their last four games, but they’re 5-2 ATS in their last seven on the road.
Dallas is only 2-5 SU and ATS in its last seven home games, and three of those losses came as the favorite. Bettors who have gone with Dallas in Thursday night games have been coming away disappointed lately, as the Cowboys are 1-8 ATS in their last nine games on Thursday.
The Cowboys and Redskins met up earlier this season in Washington in Week 8 and Dallas posted a 33-19 win as a 3-point road favorite. The big difference for Dallas was the presence of running back Ezekiel Elliott, who rushed for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 33 carries. Of course, Elliott will be out this week as he continues to serve his six-game suspension.
Including the Week 8 win, Dallas has won the last three versus Washington while going 2-1 ATS. In their last six against the Redskins, the Cowboys are 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS, but at home they’re only 6-4 SU and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 versus Washington.
