MLB Betting: AL West Games on Tuesday Slate
A pair of AL West matchups highlight the Tuesday MLB schedule as the Oakland Athletics visit the Houston Astros and the Seattle Mariners take on the Los Angeles Angels.
In Houston it’s a battle of aces, with Sean Manaea (8-6, 3.33 ERA) getting the start for Oakland and Justin Verlander (9-4, 2.15 ERA) taking the mound for Houston.
Oakland has been a solid pick lately when Manaea has started, with wins in his last five starts. Mariners, Angels meet on MLB odds on Tuesday
In Los Angeles the Mariners and Angels begin a three-game series with Mike Leake (8-5, 4.11 ERA) getting the ball for Seattle and Garrett Richards (5-4, 3.42 ERA) pitching for Los Angeles.
Leake and Richards faced off just last week when Los Angeles won 7-4 as a -110 favorite. Richards picked up the win after allowing three runs on four hits with eight strikeouts in 5 1-3 innings. Leake was tagged with the loss after surrendering three runs on nine hits over four innings
In three starts against the Angels this season Leake is 1-2 with a 4.11 ERA. Richards has also faced Seattle three times this season, compiling a 2-0 record and a 2.57 ERA.
Seattle enters the series 2-3 in their last five games, but they’re 10-3 in their last 13 and have won four straight on the road. The Angels are 3-4 in their last seven and have been money for anyone betting the UNDER, at 8-1-1 to the UNDER in their last 10.
In nine games between Seattle and Los Angeles this season the Mariners have the edge with a 6-3 record.
