UFC 227 Betting: Dillashaw vs Garbrandt 2

Two UFC titles will be on the line in two rematches this weekend, as UFC 227: Dillashaw vs Garbrandt 2 invades the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The main event is the UFC bantamweight title bout between champion T.J. Dillashaw and challenger Cody Garbrandt. At Bovada Sportsbook, Dillashaw is a slim favorite at -120, while Garbrandt is listed at -110.

Dillashaw is 7-1 in his last eight fights and owns an overall record of 15-3 with seven wins by knockout. Garbrandt is coming off his first-ever MMA loss, which dropped his record to 11-1 with nine wins by KO.

Garbrandt’s first loss came against Dillashaw at UFC 217 in November. The title changed hands after Dillashaw stopped Garbrandt by KO in the second round. In that first fight, Garbrandt was a -240 favorite and Dillashaw a +150 underdog.

Johnson goes for 12th title defense

The other UFC banner up for grabs this weekend is the UFC flyweight title, as champ Demetrious Johnson takes on Henry Cejudo. At Bovada Sportsbook, Johnson is a -500 favorite and Cejudo a +350 underdog.

Johnson has a 13-fight winning streak going, which includes 11 successful title defenses. Overall his record stands at 27-2-1 with five wins by KO and 11 by submission. His last loss was in October 2011. His last title defense was at UFC 216 in October where he defeated Ray Borg by submission as a -1200 favorite.

Cejudo is 2-2 in his last four fights and 12-2 with five wins by KO overall. He last fought at UFC 218 in December where he defeated Sergio Pettis by unanimous decision as a -360 favorite.

Johnson and Cejudo previously faced each other at UFC 197 in April 2016. Johnson made short work of his opponent with a first-round TKO. In that fight Johnson was a -450 favorite and Cejudo a +240 underdog.

Santos favored over Holland

Also on the main card at UFC 227 is a middleweight bout between Thiago Santos and Kevin Holland. Santos is a -375 favorite and Holland, making his UFC debut, is a +285 underdog.

Santos had a four-fight winning streak snapped in his last bout, dropping him to 17-6 with12 wins by KO. He faced David Branch at UFC Fight Night 128 in April and lost by KO as a -205 favorite.

Holland begins his UFC career 12-3 with six wins by KO and five by submission. His last fight was on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in June where he defeated Teagan Dooley by submission.
