Las Vegas - NOT running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain. Just gonna be sitting and watching the bulls running, bucking and throwing cowboys in the air down in Guthrie, Oklahoma. It's the PBR baby! Which, if you're not in that space is, Professional Bull Riders. Okay, here's my truth. I was born and raised in the Bronx, in New York City, and the only bull I was familiar with came at the beginning of a compound word, the last part of which you know. Yea, starts with an S and ends with a T. Now, in the vacuum of known sports betting wagers, we have found out that you can bet on the BULLS. Specifically, the PBR Las Vegas Invitational at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie. Of course, we did a little checking, and it you wanted to go see some ANGRY bulls, the Lazy E is the place.

For the animals, they have 584 permanent stalls, dirt floors, wash racks, electric outlets at every stall, and, my favorite feature, a barn pager system to and from the arena. If you listen close, you can hear one of the staff members calling the barn and telling them to get Pookie Holler ready. And if you think Pookie is kind of a soft name for a ferocious bull, you need to know that his average buckoff (throwing a cowboy into outer space) is 100%, and his average buckoff time is just 2.31 seconds. So, you can call him MISTER Holler!

For the RV crowd, they have 129 hookups with 50 amp service and water, 346 hookups with 30 amp service and water, and my favorite feature for us humans, an ON-SITE DUMP STATION! My son-in-law is an Okie, not from Muskogee, but from Keyes in the Panhandle, and he knows his way around bulls. So, went to him for some thoughts on winning a barrel full of cash. We've seen a list of the odds, and Jose Vitor Leme from Brazil is the favorite at 7/2. My guy, lets call him B, likes Jose, but if you're looking to cash on a long shot, you can get 18/1 odds on Colton Jesse from Ada, Oklahoma. Can't guarantee a winner, but there is one thing I CAN GUARANTEE. You AIN'T gonna find this BULL stuff anywhere else!!!

Got some more four-legged animals, with my MAIN horse GURU, Martin Calia...Talk to us Marty...

Gulfstream Park...Race 3

A cheap 12.5 claimer run at 6 furlongs. I like Mammoth, a first time starter, owned and trained by Steve Klesaris. He is a healthy 8-1 morning line and is working very well as he leaves from post position number four.
Therefore, the bet is $20 across the board on number four and a 1-4-10 exacta and trifecta box.

Oaklawn Park...Race 9

The ninth at Oaklawn is the 6 furlong Bachelor Stakes. We last saw Eight Rings in the Breeders Cup Juvenile in November, where he finished a well beaten sixth. He is back on the Derby trail and is making his first start of the year. He is trained by Bob Baffert who is a sizzling 6 for 10 at the meet. Rings worked 5f in a bullet 59 over the track. He is the class of the race and is morning line 5/2 from post 7. The bet is $25 win and place and a $20 daily double, number 7 Eight Rings in the 9th with number 1, Bellafina in the 10th.

Oaklawn Park...Race 10

The tenth race is the Carousel Stakes and I think Bellafina is the class of the race. The 8/5 morning line favorite breaks from the rail and will be hard to beat. One of the top jocks at Oaklawn is Joe Talamo and he gets the ride for trainer Simon Callahan. The bet $25 win on number 1 Bellafina.
