nunes
Las Vegas - Say hello to the ladies, and what, according to the oddsmakers, is the biggest mismatch of the evening in the UFC. It's Amanda (The Lioness) Nunes vs. Felicia (Feenom) Spencer. Nunes is mostly around -$650 with the take back on Spencer around +$425. If you are looking to bet the underdog, we have seen her as high as +$500.
The Lioness is 32 years old from Pojuca, Bahia, Brazil. She tips the scale at a buck 45, is 5'8" and has a 69.0" reach. Her MMA record is 19-4, with 13 wins coming by KO, 3 by decision and 3 by submission. However, you can forget about those four losses. She hasn't been on the wrong end of a fight since 2014, winning 10 in a row, beating down everyone in her way, and that's why she is considered the GREATEST women fighter in MMA history.
Feenom is 29 years old from Montreal, Canada. She hits the scale at a buck 44.5, is 5'6" and has a 68.0" reach. Her MMA record is 8-1, with just 2 wins coming by KO, 2 by decision and 4 by submission.
If we were handicapping by IQ, then Spencer, who teaches 6th grade algebra, would be the choice. But nobody is asking Nunes to solve any equations. However, my kids asked me to help with this and solve for x...
3x+5x+4-x+7=88
If you can solve it, WITHOUT a calculator, send me your answer for x, and you will win absolutely NOTHING!
Not prepared to lay over $600 on the Lioness, but will drop my biggest pile of chips on Nunes to win in the 1st round by KO or TKO. BANG!!!
In the other fights, we like Cory (The Sandman) Sandhagen over Aljamain (Funk Master) Sterling and Cody (No Love) Garbrandt over Raphael (sadly has no nickname) Assuncao.

Excellent day of racing at Belmont and Santa Anita!
We will start in NY at Belmont Park, Race 7, the Grade 3 Westchester. This race is a one turn mile and a sixteenth dirt race and it features the return of Travers Stakes winner Code of Honor. The horse is working good and his trainer Shug Mcgaughey III should have him ready to roll ! He is by far the class of the field. Belmont race 7 number 9 Code of Honor...a "Benjamin" to win.
Belmont Park 9th race the seven furlong, Grade 1, RunHappy Carter Handicap. The number one horse , Firenze Fire, was previously trained by Jason Servis. Unless you were living under a rock, Servis was the trainer of disqualified Kentucky Derby winner Maximum Security. He is presently under investigation and horses under his care have been disbursed to other trainers. This horse lands in the barn of Kelly Breen. The horse is working good and Breen is 22% (winners) when a horse first enters his barn. FF has won 7 of his last 9 races and the only horses to beat him were champion sprinters Mitole and Imperial Hunt.
The bet is $50 win and place on number 1 Firenze Fire. Lets also bet a $20 daily double with the 1 Firenze Fire and the 9 horse, The Last Ace in the 10th.
Speaking of Race 10, lets bet $20 across the board on number 9, The Last Ace.
Now out West to Santa Anita!
Race 6 number 1 is Cezanne, a Bob Baffert trainee that they paid more money for than Benjamin Lee and myself can afford! He is working lights out in the morning and will win at a very short price. Could be another Baffert derby horse if he lives up to all the hype.
Speaking of the Derby, the 8th race is the Santa Anita Derby. It's a mile and a eighth race on the dirt and trainer Bob Baffert sends out undefeated (3-3) Authentic. His last three six furlong works looked fantastic and his Beyers in G3 Sham (90), and the G2 San Felipe (98), are best in the field. In my opinion he is the best horse in his barn and that includes the undefeated Charlatan. If you get a chance, view his workouts on Xpressbet. The bet is number 7 Authentic - a Benjamin to win and place.
Good luck!!!
