man 3
Las Vegas - Over to England, and got a soccer double dip for you this weekend in the Premier League.
LOVE Manchester United to absolutely DESTROY Bournemouth today, but don't think I'm gonna lay $600 to win back $100. Since the restart, Man U has been perfect, well, almost perfect, winning three with one draw, and outscoring the opposition, 9-2. On the other side of the pitch, Bournemouth has been perfect, PERFECTLY UGLY, losing all three games, scoring only once and letting in seven. So, this is how we're gonna divide our chips. Take the Red Devils to win the 1st half & win the 2nd half at reasonable price. Saw +$120 at a few sportsbooks. Also throwin' a few chips on OVER 3 goals.
Happy 4th to the thousands in the Ecks & Bacon Nation. PLZ be careful, stay safe and if you find a mask, wear it!!!

As long as we're over in England, my horse guy, Martin Calia, has some action in the Epsom Derby. Talk to us Marty...
"The Derby is a mile and a half on the turf and I think if jockey Frankie Dettori can maneuver English King over from the dreaded one hole he can beat them in the stretch. You see the first post is equivalent to the 20 post in the Kentucky Derby. At the start the horses have to get over to the right and if Frankie D. gets stuck outside, it won't be pretty. But I'm betting he does because he is that good. Plus the horse is very good too! Therefore, $20 across the board on # 1 English King. Just for fun lets play a $2 exacta wheel #1 with all.
Now back to the old US of A ! Lets start the fourth off with a bang!
I'm usually not a name better but I can't help myself today in the first race at Belmont. I'm making a $2 across the board wager on number 5 Mia Calia! I can't NOT bet a horse who has my last name! Although she is a 35-1 morning line long shot, there are some positives in her favor. She was bet down to 4-1 in her first start, she gets a positive trainer change to Gary Gullo who is 26% when he first gets a new horse in his barn. Hopefully we will have fireworks the first race. Lets take a shot at a small pick 3 for a $1. Race 1-( 1-4-5-8), Race 2- (1-2-6-7), Race 3- (1) This is a $16 bet.
The third race is my BEST BET, #1, Frank's Rockette. He worked a bullet 4 furlongs in 46.4 over the main track! So lets place a Benjamin Lee to win on him and collect some bacon!
The sixth race is a maiden special weights on the turf at seven furlongs .The bet is $20 across the board on the Mark Casse trained #8, Yes To Mischief. This first time starter is working fantastic for his debut and Casse is 17% with FTS and 16% FTS on the turf.
The eighth race is the Grade 3 Poker. I think Chad Brown will win as he has two strong candidates. I'm going with #2 Valid Point over #9 Value Proposition. Valid is 3 for 4 with a Grade 1 win and owns a win over the turf course. Plus he gets top jock Javier Castellano. So we will wager $25 win and place on #2 and then $5 exacta wheel #2 with all.
Which brings us to the Grade 1 Met Mile. It's the best race on the card and was the hardest to handicap. I wouldn't be surprised if any of the following horses won. Vekoma, Code of Honor and McKinzie are all coming off winning efforts. Endorsed, Mr Freeze and Warriors Charge all have speed to lead the charge. But in my opinion McKinzie is the one to beat. He almost won this race last year as he finished second to Breeders Cup sprint champ Mitole. I watched his last two works and they were fantastic. He went well past the wire in both and was hard to pull up. McKinzie is trained by Bob Baffert and ridden by Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith. This trainer/jockey combo hits at 29%! Lets place a Benjamin to win and place on #3 McKinzie, and a $5 exacta wheel #3 with all.
The 11th race is the Grade 2 Suburban, a mile and a quarter on the dirt. Lets bet #1 Tacitus, the Bill Mott trainee, who put in a bullet work of 46.4 for four furlongs to ready for this race. He is the class of the field and should beat this crew. The wager is $50 win and place on #1 Tacitus.
Good Luck and have a Happy 4th! And Happy Birthday Sherry!!!
