home run

Las Vegas - Another baseball prop that looks like fun, and possibly, money in the bank, is, 1st player to hit a home run. Of course, the Yankees/Nationals are the first game up tomorrow, so that's why all the Yanks and Nats are the favorites. Gonna spread a few chips around on Aaron Judge (5/1), Gary Sanchez (12/1) and the NYY leadoff hitter, DJ LeMahieu (15/1). Just in case, gonna throw down on Miguel Andujar at a very tasty 25/1. Speaking of tasty, what if there was NO home run in the opener, then Cody Bellinger would be a crazy fabulous wager at 50/1 when the Dodgers host the Giants.

Off to England for a quick look at the Manchester United vs. West Ham United match. Man U is currently sitting on 62 points in a flat tie with Leicester City for the fourth and final spot for next season's UEFA Champions League. A win here is critical for the Red Devils, because they finish the season Sunday at Leicester. And playing the last game with a three point cushion would make life much easier. West Ham has basically nothing to play for since the Hammers are sitting down in the 16th slot, but a solid six points clear of relegation. So, edge, YUGE EGDE to the Devils. And that's why the price, anywhere from -$450 to -$500 depending on where you shop, is a bit TOO high for my wallet. So, naturally, it's time for another visit to Prop City. And my two money-makers. Gonna drop a pretty big bundle of chips on Man U to win the 1st half at a very reasonable -$165. And also gotta go OVER 2.5 goals at -$220, because locking up the 4th position in the Premier League could come down to goal differential, and that means manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's kids will be firing on all cylinders. The devil is in the details but the Devils are in the bizness of making some cash for the Ecks & Bacon Nation.
