UFC Betting: Smith vs Rakic Odds Preview

Two light heavyweights looking to rebound from upset defeats meet up in the main event this weekend when the UFC sets up in its Las Vegas Apex facility again for UFC Fight Night: Smith vs Rakic.

The main event is a light heavyweight bout between Anthony Smith and Aleksandar Rakic. At Bovada Sportsbook, Rakic is a -280 favorite and Smith a +220 underdog.

Rakic had a 12-fight winning streak snapped in his last fight, which dropped his record to 12-2 with nine wins by KO. That loss came at UFC Fight Night 165 in December to Volkan Oezdemir by split decision as a -227 favorite.

Smith is 33-15 with 18 wins by KO and 12 by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 171 in May and lost to Glover Teixeira by fifth-round TKO as a -278 favorite.

Magny favored over Lawler in welterweight fight

Also on the main card this weekend is a welterweight bout between Robbie Lawler and Neil Magny. At Bovada, Magny is a -250 favorite and Lawler a +195 underdog.

Magny is 23-7 with seven wins by KO and three by submission. He last fought at UFC 250 in June, defeating Anthony Rocco Martin by unanimous decision as a -165 favorite.

Lawler has dropped his last three fights and four of his last five. His record is 28-14 and one no contest, with 20 wins by KO. He last fought at UFC on ESPN 5 in August 2019 when he lost to Colby Covington by unanimous decision as a +175 underdog.

Grasso tries to bounce back from upset loss

One other notable fight on the main card this weekend is a women’s flyweight bout between Alexa Grasso and Ji Yeon Kim. At Bovada, Grasso is a -315 favorite and Kim a +245 underdog.

Kim is 2-3 in her last five fights and her overall record stands at 9-2-2 with two wins by KO and three by submission. She last fought in October at UFC 243 where she defeated Nadia Kassem by second-round KO as a -190 favorite.
