Las Vegas - So we know about Russell Westbrook. If you had to describe him in one word, what would it be? Mine would be FEROCIOUS! Russ was skewered by the media after game six, screaming that it was his worst effort in the playoffs. Actually, he agreed, "That's just my fault. Honestly. That's easy. Last game I had zero turnovers, tonight I had seven. Simple as that." Think Westbrook is gonna be EXTRA pumped tonight???

We know about James Harden. If you had to describe him in one word, what would it be? Mine would be UNSTOPPABLE! But in the final quarter of game six, both Harden and Westbrook combined for just 10 points, shooting 3/11 from the field. WHAT??? Harden was just 1/6 from the field and in the last three possessions, he didn’t even touch the ball. WHAT??? He DIDN’T even TOUCH the ball. WHAT??? WHAT??? That WILL BE corrected this evening.

But from my keyboard, it's Eric Gordon that has gotta step up his game, because the Rockets need a third option. Gordon was 3/12 (25%) overall and just 1/6 (17%) from downtown in game six. VERY un-Gordon-like. His career totals tell us that he shoots a little over 42% overall, and 37% from deep. The numbers he had Monday were ugly. He'll do better.

Totally understand that we're playing in the bubble, with no fans, but here's something interesting, strange and also very odd. In games that the Rockets were listed as the home team, they posted a win & cover in all three, and each game was a BREEZE! Game one was 123-108, game two was 111-98 and game five was 114-80. Guess who is listed as the home team for game seven? Yea, Houston. Looking for an EXPLOSION from the Beard & Russ, with a side of Gordon. Medium play to the Rockets.
