UFC Betting: Holm vs Aldana Odds Preview

A pair of women’s bantamweight bouts top the main card this weekend at UFC on ESPN 4: Holm vs Aldana.

The main event is a women’s bantamweight fight between Holly Holm and Irene Aldana. At Bovada Sportsbook, Holm is a slim -125 favorite and Aldana a -105 underdog.

Holm, the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion, is only 3-5 in her last eight fights and owns an overall record of 13-5 with eight wins by knockout. She last fought at UFC 246 in January when she defeated Raquel Pennington by unanimous decision as a -200 favorite.

Aldana is 5-1 in her last six fights and her record stands at 12-5 with six wins by KO and three by submission. She last fought at UFC 245 in December, defeating Ketlen Vieira by first-round KO as a +160 underdog.

De Randamie slight favorite in other bantamweight tilt

The other women’s bantamweight bout on the main card this weekend is between Germaine de Randamie and Julianna Pena. At Bovada, de Randamie is a -135 favorite and Pena a +105 underdog.

De Randamie had a five-fight winning streak snapped in her last fight, which dropped her record to 9-4 with four wins by KO. That loss came at UFC 245 in December to Amanda Nunes by unanimous decision as a +220 underdog.

Pena is 5-1 in her last six fights and owns an overall record of 9-3 with three wins by KO and three by submission. She last fought at UFC Fight Night 155 in July 2019, besting Nicco Montano by unanimous decision as a -265 favorite.

De Castro, Felipe both coming off underdog losses

One other interesting matchup on this weekend’s main card is a fight between two heavyweights who are both coming off their first professional loss. The fighters are Jorgan de Castro and Carlos Felipe. At Bovada, de Castro is a -265 favorite and Felipe a +205 underdog.

De Castro is 6-1 with five of his wins coming by KO. He last fought in May at UFC 249 where he lost to Greg Hardy by unanimous decision as a +170 underdog.

Felipe is 8-1 with six wins by KO. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 172 in July, losing to Sergey Spivak by majority decision as a +145 underdog.
