Las Vegas - For those readers that have destroyed various electronic devices after maybe the WORST BAD BEAT IN THE HISTORY OF BAD BEATS, I had the Browns too, and FEEL your PAIN!!!

Hope you're sitting, because we have some very SAD news to report. They have cancelled the Frisco Bowl in Frisco, Texas. Or, to be more accurate, the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl. With the long and distinguished history, the Smoothie has become one of my favorites. Okay, they've only been playing the Tropical since 2017, but MAN, what a list of "A" teams, he said with a WINK. The 2017 game saw Louisiana Tech smoke SMU 51-10 as a +4 point underdog, and naturally, we were ALL OVER the Bulldogs from Ruston for a big add to the bank account. In 2018, it was that powerhouse from Athens, Ohio University, feeding San Diego State a 27-0 bagel. The Bobcats were a skinny -2 point favorite and once again, winner, winner chicken dinner for the Ecks & Bacon Nation. Last year, it was another MAC team, Kent State, outlasting Utah State 51-41. The Golden Flashes were a +7 point dog, and naturally, we had 'em. Also parlayed the side to the Over/Under total, which was 71.5 points, went Over, and cashed another ticket. So, you can see why we're HORRIBLY upset that they took the Trop Smoothie off the board. Guess I'll have to turn my attention to my second favorite bowl game, the brand new Duke's Mayo Bowl in Charlotte, North Carolina. As anyone who knows me knows, MAYO is my thing. On almost EVERYTHING I eat. Once put it on a meatball sandwich and Mrs. Ecks & Bacon started the paperwork to file for a divorce. If you're not familiar with the Mayo Bowl, the bowl game has been around since 2002 in various incarnations. Including sponsorship by Continental Tires, Meineke Car Care and Belk department stores. Actually have never tried Duke's Mayo, probably because it's a Southern thing, but I'm open if anyone wants to send a jar or two.

Of course we're gonna tickle a game in the Premier League over in London and use West Ham United over Crystal Palace.
