UFC Betting: Holloway vs Kattar Odds Preview
The UFC returns to network television for the first time in over two years this weekend for UFC on ABC: Holloway vs Kattar.
The main event is a featherweight bout between Max Holloway and Calvin Kattar. At Bovada Sportsbook, Holloway is a -165 favorite and Kattar a +135 underdog.
Holloway is 1-3 in his last four fights and owns an overall record of 21-6 with 10 wins by knockout. He last fought at UFC 251 in July when he lost to Alexander Volkanovski by split decision as a +155 underdog.
Kattar is 4-1 in his last five fights. His record currently stands at 22-4 with 11 wins by KO. He last fought at UFC on ESPN 13 in July, defeating Dan Ige by unanimous decision as a -295 favorite.
Condit favored over Brown in welterweight fight
Also on the main card this weekend is a welterweight bout between Carlos Condit and Matt Brown. At Bovada, Condit is a -120 favorite and Brown a +140 underdog.
Condit has lost five of his last six fights, dropping his record to 31-13 with 15 wins by KO and 13 by submission. He last fought in October at UFC on ESPN 16 where he defeated Court McGee by unanimous decision as a +110 underdog.
Brown is 2-4 in his last six fights and 3-6 in his last nine. His overall record stands at 22-17 with 14 wins by KO and six by submission. He last fought at UFC on ESPN 8 in May and lost to Miguel Baeza by second-round TKO as a +110 underdog.
Ponzinibbio a sizable favorite in return to Octagon
One other interesting fight on the main card this weekend is a welterweight bout featuring the return of Santiago Ponzinibbio as he faces Li Jingliang. At Bovada, Ponzinibbio is a -300 favorite and Jingliang a +230 underdog.
Ponzinibbio had won his last seven fights before a lengthy illness sidelined him for over two years. His record is 27-3 with 15 wins by KO and six by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 140 in November 2018, defeating Neil Magny by fourth-round KO as a -235 favorite.
Jingliang is 17-6 with seven wins by KO and five by submission. He also faced Magny in his last fight, at UFC 248 in March, losing by unanimous decision as a -195 favorite.
