Las Vegas - Numbers are in. Nevada sportsbooks took in $136.1 million in handle for Super Bowl LV and won $12.6 million, for a hold of 9.2%. Last year, Nevada sportsbooks won $18.8 million on a handle $154.7 million wagered, for a FAT hold of 12.1%.

Speaking of hold, think I'm HOLDING a winning ticket that's sitting on my desk. Actually, KNOW that I'm holding a WINNER! Just to finish up all my Super Bowl prop wagers, we had a cross-sport prop that asked what will be higher: Travis Kelce receiving yards or the highest round at the Masters. We dropped a bundle of cash on Kelce and it looks very, very, VERY good. He had 133 receiving yards on Super Sunday, so, as long as no one shoots ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY FOUR in any round at Augusta, my bank account bulges again. Trust that you were with me on this prop. Wooooo hooooo!!!

On the college hoop board, thinking about tickling Villanova -11 points over Marquette. In an earlier game at Milwaukee, 'Nova had no trouble easing past the Golden Eagles, 85-68. It should be just as easy, but we're gonna make our main play in the 2nd half. In the first game, the 'Cats ran into the locker up 36-30 at the half, which is kinda typical. In the 2nd half, they rolled up an 11 point margin, 49-38. So, if 'Nova should be trailing, or just up a couple after 20 minutes, then we get out the phone, click on our sportsbook, and BOMB 'em in the 2nd half.
