Las Vegas - Back in the day, the NIT used to be the BIG DEAL, but that was like 60/70 years ago. Just because the cream of the college crop is not hooping in this tournament, there's no reason why we can't still make a little cash. Gonna tickle Toledo -2 points over Richmond. The Rockets never met a shot they didn't like. They are averaging 81.6 points per game which is good enough for 14th in the country, and they also know how to cover the spread. They've cashed 20 times in 29 games and at 69%, that's MONEY! Always like to look at how a team comes into the post-season, and the Spiders have been UGLY, losing three in a row and failing to cover five of the last six. And more problems. The best of the Spiders, leading scorer Blake Francis (16.1 points per game), is listed as questionable, and the second leading scorer, Grant Golden (12.7 ppg), is also questionable. Take almost 30 points out of the equation, and you see why we're riding the Rockets. If you see that Francis and Golden are both out, then we would upgrade from a tickle to a BOOK IT!!!
