UFC Betting: Miocic vs Ngannou 2 Preview

The UFC heavyweight title will be on the line this weekend at UFC 260: Miocic vs Ngannou 2.

The main event is the UFC heavyweight title bout between champion Stipe Miocic and challenger Francis Ngannou. At Bovada Sportsbook, Ngannou is a small -120 favorite and Miocic an EVEN-money underdog.

Miocic has won eight of his last nine fights and owns an overall record of 20-3 with 15 wins by knockout. He last fought at UFC 252 in August when he defended the UFC heavyweight title by defeating Daniel Cormier by unanimous decision as a -115 underdog.

Ngannou is 15-3 with 11 wins by KO and four by submission. All of Ngannou’s MMA losses have gone the distance. He last fought in May at UFC 249 where he defeated Jairzinho Rozenstruik by first-round KO as a -275 favorite.

Miocic and Ngannou previously fought at UFC 220 in January 2018. Miocic won that fight by unanimous decision as a +135 underdog.

There was also supposed to be a UFC featherweight title bout at UFC 260 but it was scrapped after UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski tested positive for COVID-19.

Luque favored over Woodley in welterweight clash

Moving up the main card following the cancellation is a welterweight bout between Tyron Woodley and Vicente Luque. At Bovada, Luque is a -265 favorite and Woodley a +205 underdog.

Luque has won eight of his last nine fights to bump his record up to 19-7-1 with 11 wins by KO and six by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 173 in August, besting Randy Brown by second-round KO as a -220 favorite.

Woodley has lost three straight fights, which has dropped his record to 19-6-1 with seven wins by KO and five by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 178 in September and lost to Colby Covington by fifth-round TKO as a +260 underdog.

O’Malley heavy chalk coming off first pro loss

Also on the main card this weekend is a bantamweight bout between Sean O’Malley and Thomas Almeida. At Bovada, O’Malley is a -315 favorite and Almeida a +245 underdog.

O’Malley is coming off his first professional loss and owns a record of 12-1 with eight wins by KO. That loss came at UFC 252 in August when he fell to Marlon Vera by first-round TKO as a -325 favorite.

Almeida has lost his last three fights and four of his last five. His record stands at 22-4 with 17 wins by KO and four by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 180 in October, losing to Jonathan Martinez by unanimous decision as a -150 favorite.
