a's 3
Las Vegas - Heading back out West tonight and gonna try Oakland with Sean Manaea over the Tigers. It appears as if the A's were not ready for the start of the season. They opened up with an UGLY 0-6 run and were outscored 50-13. Did I just say FIFTY to THIRTEEN? Everyone knew that the Athletics were better than that and the pendulum has swung back around. The A's have ripped off four straight wins (not including last night), and Manaea is gonna be trouble for Detroit. Like the rest of the A's, he was UGLY in his first start, allowing 5 earned runs in just 4 innings, but the next time out, he was touched for just 1 earned over 6 frames. The pitching numbers were the exact opposite for Tarik Skubal. He worked well in his first start (5 innings, 2 earned), but then was ROCKED the last time out, giving up 5 hits and 6 earned runs in only 4 innings. Gimme the A's for the money and you can BOOK IT!!!
And if you have an extra pair of skates, we're gonna roll with the Lightning over the Panthers in the epic battle for supremacy in the state of Florida.
