Las Vegas - What's the old adage??? Don't poke a sleeping bear. Well, Montreal not only poked the sleeping bear, they sent one of the bears, John Tavares, to the hospital. Ever since that ugly knee to the head by Corey Perry, the Maple Leafs have been spitting FIRE! They have won three straight, 5-1, 2-1, 4-0, and just one of the games has been close. With a chance to close it out at home, despite the lack of fans, the Leafs should put on another show for Captain Tavares. They've won five of the last six in Toronto, while Montreal, are you holding your nose, has ONLY one win in the last nine games. Leafs gonna be GOLDEN tonight as they skate past the Canadiens and get ready for the Winnipeg Jets.

On the baseball board, looking at the Nationals with Stephen Strasburg over the Reds. When Strasburg is right, he's RIGHT. He opened up 2021 with a six inning, one hit, zero earned runs effort against the Braves. Then he felt a little something in his shoulder against the Cards, and was bounced after four innings and seven earned. He sat for almost five weeks and came back against the Orioles this past Friday. He spun another beauty, allowing just one hit over five innings of all bagels. Expecting more bagels and gonna drop some chips on the Nats.
